A note from the drawing board...

Shortly after New Years, Trent N. contacted me to create an illustration of his new “baby a “Black Edition” 2012 911. He’d sent some images (see below) and spec’d his favorite view - a front quarter. After a quick line drawing & approval, I got to work and couldn’t be happier with the results. It was a pleasure to be a part of his passion for Porsche and creating something to enjoy and cherish for years to come.

Thanks Trent!

Trent sent a couple sample images...

And a few weeks later, it was ready!

Hi Steve,

I received my piece yesterday! It is really beautiful, and the finished framing makes the piece look even better. I’m in the process of setting up a new office so once it’s up on the wall I’ll send you a shot! It is truly amazing, and I love it.

I’ve shown the finished piece to the new Porsche dealership here as well. Perhaps they may be interested in some pieces in the future for their good clients?? I’ll definitely fly your flag and talk you up with them! I know that some of your posters would look great in the finished showroom!

Please feel free to showcase my illustration on your website. I would hope that it entices others to work with you as well.

Thanks again Steve,

Trent N

NEW PRINT RELEASE

"Porsche History 1948-2012" is a new poster / print release for the 2011 holiday season. The print measures a generous w36" x h24" and features 40 original illustrations depicting Porsche sports cars from the diminutive 1948 356 Gmund Coupe to the recently introduced 991 Series 911. Readers of Excellence Magazine will be familiar with the work of Staff Illustrator, Steve Anderson, and for the first time, the archive of original artwork has been carefully edited and remastered for this very special commemorative print. The finished product is available in two finishes, a heavy weight poster and a limited edition fine art print (series of 250 prints).

Please continue to the "Porsche Prints" page for ordering information.

FORZA MAGAZINE

2006 had barely gotten started when I was asked to become Staff Illustrator for Ferrari-focused FORZA Magazine. Like the work previously commissioned by Excellence Magazine, the FORZA body of work portrays Ferrari street & dual-purpose automobiles from the 166 to present day cars like Enzo, 360 & 575. I work directly with Editor, Aaron Jenkins in selecting the model and color combinations which reflect the different eras, body styles and color palette (no, all Ferraris are not red).

I've also recently earned the privilege of being approved by Ferrari SpA. as an officially licensed artist of Ferrari automobiles. To celebrate this accomplishment, I've released an initial series of prints featuring the cars images and build data within the production segments and eras that have defined this spectacular marque. I strive for the highest quality in all of my work and am thrilled to have this acknowledgement.
EXCELLENCE MAGAZINE

Since 2001, I've had the honor of being the Staff Illustrator for Excellence Magazine. Working with Editor, Pete Stout, we created an archive depicting Porsche production that captures all of the nuances of each era. From the "Outlaw" style '56 Speedster with cast headlamp guards and cap-less wheels to the (rare) Zanzibar 996 C4S, these illustrations have helped further distinguish Excellence as a true enthusiast's publication.

Please see the "Art Prints" page for recently introduced Excellence Magazine Archive model-specific prints.

Look for my advertisements in Ross Publications' Excellence, Forza and Corvette Magazines.

I've also recently earned the privilege of being selected by Dr. Ing. h.c.F. Porsche AG to be an officially licensed artist of Porsche automobiles. It is a very few who hold this distinction as it based solely on Porsche's judgement of work submission, not by financial arangement. I strive for the highest quality in all of my work and am thrilled to have this acknowledgement.
